Imagine, if you will, a street of bars, thrift stores and small trinket shops. This is fourth avenue. A group of five college guys stumble out of a bar laughing and yelling as a curly-haired girl walks up the street toward them. The guys bumbling around, notice the girl and the tall blond in a red hat spurts out, “Hey Ginger!” The curly-haired girl says, “Hey” and continues to walk toward her destination. The guys do not back down, however, and rag on the girl for not stopping and talking with them as they intermittently boast (in their drunken stupor) of how they have just been kicked out of the bar…for the sixth time. The girl rushes to the restaurant to meet her friends, and the group follows her in, only to stop at the restaurant’s bar and pound another round. Its 5pm.
This is just a taste of the world. I’m Caitlin.
I’m a 22-year-old “Super Senior” at the University of Arizona that is inching myself into this crazy world little by little. School occupies only a couple days out of my week, even if the papers keep me up all night. Oh the life of an English major! I work at an old west theme park as an entertainer when I’m not at school. Dressing up in costumes everyday, performing with my friends, and generally acting like a crazy 12-year-old, suits me just fine. Its by no means a “normal” job, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Shenanigans and tomfoolery seem to follow me, whether I start them or not. So…welcome to my side of the story. :)
